Keptsy is made by Renzoft ("we"). This policy explains what the Keptsy app does with your information. The short version: we don't collect it, except the names of shops Keptsy doesn't know yet, which you control (below).
Photos
Keptsy needs access to your photo library to show you photos to keep or delete and to read receipts and transfer slips. All reading (text recognition and image classification) happens on your iPhone using Apple's on-device frameworks. Photos are never uploaded, copied to a server, or shared with us or anyone else. Photos are only deleted when you confirm, and iOS keeps them in Recently Deleted for 30 days.
Your log and settings
Expenses you log, your stats, streak, budget, and settings are stored only on your device, inside the app's own storage. They're included in your device backups (such as iCloud Backup) according to your iOS settings. We have no copy. Deleting the app, or using Settings › Reset app, removes them from the device.
No accounts, analytics, or ads
Keptsy has no sign-in and doesn't use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We don't collect device identifiers or usage data. The app works offline.
Shop and category updates
Once a day, when you're online, the app downloads our latest list of shops, categories, and banks (hosted on Supabase) so it can recognize more receipts and slips. This is a download only: no photos, expenses, names, or identifiers are sent. As with any download, the server sees your IP address in its standard logs; we don't use it to identify you.
Optional: help Keptsy learn new shops
After you save in Review, if some shops weren't recognized, Keptsy lists them and asks whether to send their names. You tick the ones to send and tap Send, or choose not to send (and, if you like, turn sharing off). In Settings › Help Keptsy learn new shops you can turn sharing off or on, and turn off the question so new shop names are sent when you save. With the question on, nothing is sent without your tap. For each shop sent, the app includes the category you picked, plus your region and app version. For a company it may also send the PromptPay biller ID or tax ID printed on the slip or receipt, and the name the slip showed if you renamed it. Nothing is attached to you: no account, device ID, or other identifier. Amounts, dates, account numbers, people's names, and photos are never sent. We use these names only to add shops and categories to the list every user downloads.
Purchases
Keptsy Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We don't see your payment details. To link purchases to the app, the app sends Apple a random identifier that contains no personal information. Manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions.
Notifications
If you turn on reminders, they're scheduled on your device. No server is involved.
Children
Keptsy isn't directed to children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.
